Circulation Services

This guide is about the circulation services provided by the CUD Learning Resources Centre

Book Request

  • Library users may reserve library item that have been checked out by other user, in which library will place the item on hold.

  • When an item is requested by another user, the current user may keep it until the due date.

  • Requested library items will be held on the reserve shelf for 3 days. Library user will be informed for the availability of the requested item through phone and email.

  • Uncollected or expired hold items will be returned in the shelves as the status of the item will be back to available.

  • Library items requested on hold cannot be renewed after the initial loan period and must be returned to the Library.

Making Request

Select the Catalogue tab from the library website (\lrc)

Search the item to request using the Search box. Once you find a desired resource in the search result, click the Title.

Click on Copies to check the item availability and Status. Click Request button to request/reserve the item.

Login with your MyLibrary Account username and password.

Click Continue to confirm the pick-up location. You will receive an email or phone call as soon as the item is available for pickup.

Click on My Account to see your outstanding requests and holds, current checkouts, item due dates, transaction history and account details
