SCOPUS guide

Scopus is an abstract and citation database in all subject areas. A database of peer-reviewed literature of scientific journals, books and conference proceedings that covers world's research output in all fields.

Basic Search

Scopus allows you to do a search in several ways; you can search for:

  • documents - journals, book chapters, conference proceedings, articles in data press, data papers 
  • authors - includes search by ORCID
  • affiliations - includes a search for parent and collaborating institutions


Begin a basic document search:

Enter the keyword on the Documents search box. Use the boolean operators AND, OR, and NOT.
